What unites them is something more specific than painting itself: all five work with images that already exist\, a masterpiece\, a meme\, a domestic object\, an urban scene\, an autobiographical fragment… and they ask what happens when you paint them again\, when you slow them down\, when you subject them to another gaze. \nJulio Anaya reproduces icons from art history on found cardboard\, creating tension between aura and waste. Daniel Núñez transforms banal objects from his immediate surroundings into an almost mystical iconography\, subtle and comforting. Fran Baena brings memes and poor images onto canvas with irony and political urgency\, searching for what lies beneath the apparent banality of what we consume online. Imon Boy\, whose identity remains deliberately anonymous\, turns painting into a self-referential diary\, an archive of everything that has shaped him: graffiti\, video games\, cinema\, music. Ramón Muñoz translates everyday situations into a personal pictorial language marked by doubt and duality of identity\, with scenes that subtly unsettle. \nWhat they share is not a style\, but a distrust of the finished image. The exhibition functions as an open space in which each work maintains its autonomy\, while the whole offers a map of generational concerns: how do we paint today\, when images proliferate\, are consumed\, and disapp \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Laura Lagraña a.k.a. It crosses cultures\, eras and sensibilities\, never allowing itself to be confined to a single definition. Sometimes silent\, sometimes radiant\, it emerges in a glance\, a landscape\, a gesture\, a light. The exhibition Echoes of Beauty offers a sensitive and plural exploration of this boundless notion through painting\, moving between abstraction and figuration. \nThe artists brought tzogether here each express\, in their own way\, their personal conception of beauty. Some are drawn to the tangible presence of the world: the physical beauty of the human form\, the softness of a face\, the strength of a body\, the intensity of an expression. Others turn towards nature and the landscapes of the world around us\, capturing the harmony of lines\, the vibration of colours\, the majesty of horizons. \nThe figurative thus enters into dialogue with abstraction\, revealing that beauty can be as much recognition as suggestion. In the abstract works\, beauty frees itself from representation. It becomes rhythm\, matter\, light\, energy. It turns poetic\, spiritual\, almost meditative. It invites inward contemplation\, a slowing of the gaze\, an intimate experience in which each person projects their own sensibility. Here\, beauty is no longer merely seen: it is felt. \nContemplation forms the guiding thread of this exhibition. To contemplate is to suspend time. It is to accept entering a work without seeking to possess it\, but to inhabit it. Standing before the canvases\, the visitor is invited to experience that subtle phenomenon of beauty: a tremor\, an emotion\, an elevation. Poetic beauty reveals itself in the refinement of a gesture; spiritual beauty\, in the depth of a light; human beauty\, in the fragility of a glance; the beauty of the world\, in the balance of a landscape. \nBetween the visible and the invisible\, between matter and transcendence\, the artists remind us that beauty is not merely an aesthetic ideal: it is an experience. It is born in the encounter between the work and the one who contemplates it. Echoes of Beauty thus becomes a space for dialogue\, where every gaze completes the work\, where every emotion redefines beauty. For beauty is never fixed. It is movement\, perception\, vibration. It is that which connects us to the world and to ourselves. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGERAUD JEAN CLAUDE (CITY OF TALENTS) \nb. 1988\, Costa de Marfil Vive y trabaja en Toulouse\, Francia \nb. 1988\, Ivory Coast Lives and works in Toulouse\, France Jean Claude Geraud is a curator\, art advisor\, and consultant for artists\, institutions\, and collectors. He is the founder of City of Talents\, a contemporary and urban art agency that represents and collaborates with international artists and galleries. His passion for art and artists has gained him international recognition. He has worked with graffiti legends such as Daze and other leading contemporary artists including Noritoshi Mitsuuchi. \nJean Claude is also involved in charitable projects such as Learn and Skate\, a non- profit initiative he founded in 2014. The project helps children in developing countries access sports facilities and cultural programs by providing skateparks and cultural centers. To date\, one project in Uganda has been completed\, and another is under construction in Mongolia. \n. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Laura Lagraña a.k.a. However\, their practices could hardly seem more different\, and that distance is precisely what this exhibition is about. Smith works on large-scale canvases where color builds up in layers until it inhabits the threshold between abstraction and figuration. Something appears\, a sky\, a body\, a memory\, but it never fully takes shape. It is painting that emerges from within: from emotional experience\, from femininity\, from the weight of memory that the body carries without always knowing why. The figure is never seen; it is sensed. \nPurse\, by contrast\, works with charcoal on paper and leaves nothing to ambiguity. Muscles\, mass\, the specific gravity of a person in space: his figures are fully and undeniably present\, rooted in a tradition of figurative drawing that stretches back centuries. Where Smith dissolves\, Purse defines. What connects them is the underlying question: what does it mean to inhabit a body? Both approach it from opposite extremes\, she through the most radical abstraction\, he through figuration at its most direct\, and yet\, when placed together in the same space\, their works feel like two halves of the same thought. \nParallels does not propose a dialogue between the two artists\, but something more honest: coexistence. No formal concessions\, no carefully negotiated middle ground. Each remains faithful to their own language\, and it is precisely that fidelity\, that refusal to yield\, that generates the tension sustaining the exhibition. The line between the two worlds is drawn by the viewer. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Laura Lagraña a.k.a. LLEVO 1 OLLA CON SOPA\nLaura Lagraña \n\na.k.a. Culitomatón \n\n  \nYUSTO / GINER presents\, in our space in Marbella\, Voy despacio. Llevo 1 ol la de sopa \, a solo exhibition of the artist Laura Lagraña a.k.a. Culitomatón. \n“All the pieces that make up this exhibition are inside this pot of soup. Before I fall asleep\, I often imagine watching a horse gallop by a lake. Sometimes I runb beside it\, though I don’t like to ride it. It’s an image I’ve turned to since I was little\, whenever I feel like the soup is about to spill over. \nThe ingredients of the soup are: the vertigo that gathers in your belly when you get on a carnival pirate ship; laughing so hard you cry while having breakfast with your mom; watching deer at night in the rain\, caught in the headlights\, and seeing the steam rise from their warm bodies; finding peace resting on the chest of the person you love; the energy that surges up your arms and makes your body shake\, trembling\, because your body can’t hold the intensity inside it… \nWhat’s inside will always dance with me\, hand in hand\, and we’ll take slow steps—and sometimes very intense ones. I cling to extreme memories\, and from them are born guardian figures with tiny worlds of their own\, living together inside the soup I carry\, very slowly\, between my hands.” \nThis exhibition is an invitation to slow down\, to let emotions simmer\, to treat tenderness as an act of resistance. Through a visual language that merges humor\, fragility\, and the vibrancy of color\, the artist proposes a sensitive choreography where the ordinary and the fantastic boil together\, releasing steam\, memory\, and desire. The show brings together a series of sculptures that interact like ingredients in the same emotional recipe. Each piece is an extension of that symbolic pot where the intimate meets the absurd\, where laughter and melancholy share the same slow-burning flame. \n  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the artist: \nLaura Lagraña (Culitomatón\, Barcelona\, 1995)\, based in Bilbao\, holds a degree in Illustration\, Ceramics\, and Sculpture from IAE Pau Gargallo (Badalona). Straddling sculpture and illustration\, her practice transforms a gray\, fast-paced world into one that is playful and absurdly colorful. Her process begins with drawing\, where ideas emerge and then gain autonomy through color and its relationships; ceramics come last to give body to the characters and\, through glaze and materiality\, to move away from the first line and build a tender\, playful\, and deeply human narrative. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Laura Lagraña a.k.a.
