1999, Lives and works in Priego de Córdoba, España.

Fran Baena (Priego de Córdoba, 1999) relates images found on the web in a critical, ironic, and narrative manner with the aim of understanding ourselves as human beings. He draws on appropriationism, memes, and the poor, anonymous, and easily reproducible image to unpack, through them, issues surrounding precarity, crisis, wars, stress, anxiety, consumerism, loneliness, and hyperproductivity.
