Cheers for a Pop Up Life brings together in Marbella Julio Anaya, Daniel Núñez, Fran Baena, Imon Boy, and Ramón Muñoz: five artists from the orbit of YUSTO / GINER Gallery who once again share space in a group show. Imon Boy, whose identity remains deliberately anonymous, turns painting into a self-referential diary, an archive of everything that has shaped him: graffiti, video games, cinema, music. Ramón Muñoz translates everyday situations into a personal pictorial language marked by doubt and duality of identity, with scenes that subtly unsettle.
What they share is not a style, but a distrust of the finished image. The exhibition functions as an open space in which each work maintains its autonomy, while the whole offers a map of generational concerns: how do we paint today, when images proliferate, are consumed, and disapp
